๐ Club History
AFC Bournemouth, founded in 1899, were a non-league club until the 1920s and spent most of their existence in the lower divisions. Eddie Howe's transformative management took them from League Two in 2009 to the Premier League by 2015, where they spent five seasons, famously beating Liverpool and Manchester United along the way. After relegation in 2020 and immediate return, the club has established itself under Andoni Iraola. The Vitality Stadium, with a capacity of just 11,307, is the smallest in the Premier League.
