📖 Club History
Brighton & Hove Albion, founded in 1901, spent most of their history in the lower divisions before Tony Bloom's takeover in 2009 transformed the club. The opening of the Amex Stadium in 2011 and Bloom's data-driven approach attracted Graham Potter, then Roberto De Zerbi, both of whom turned Brighton into one of Europe's most admired footballing sides. Under De Zerbi, Brighton qualified for European football for the first time in 2023.
