๐ Club History
Everton Football Club, founded in 1878, is one of the founding members of the Football League and has spent more seasons in the top flight of English football than any other club. The club was the original tenant of Anfield before a boardroom dispute led to their move to Goodison Park in 1892. Their greatest era came in the 1980s under Howard Kendall, winning two league titles and the Cup Winners' Cup in 1985. A long-awaited move to a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock is underway.
