Tottenham Hotspur were founded in 1882 and became the first club in the 20th century to win the Double (league and FA Cup) in 1960/61. They were also the first British club to win a European trophy, lifting the Cup Winners' Cup in 1963. The club opened a spectacular new 62,850-capacity stadium in 2019, replacing the beloved White Hart Lane. Under Mauricio Pochettino they reached the Champions League final for the first time in 2019. Harry Kane is the club's all-time top scorer before his move to Bayern Munich in 2023.
